ABOUT THE OWNER

Norman Mentall

With decades of experience in the trades, construction and property and facility management, Norman Mentall founded New Life Renovations in 2021. His favorite part of his job is forging relationships that last, and he often ends up becoming friends with his clients. The business has grown exponentially over the years because of friends sending their family and friends to him.


Norman grew up in Lake County and started hanging siding while still in school at Perry High School. Staying involved with the local business community and helping others is one of his core values. He actively involved in the Chardon and West Geauga Chambers of Commerce.


When not at work, you’ll find him playing the guitar, exploring local park systems and spending time with his wife and three kids.

  • Are you licensed, bonded and insured?

    Yes.

  • How long will my job take?

    Every job is different. Before giving an estimate, Norman Mentall likes to meet you in person and see the scope of the work. He does all the measuring himself and gives his best estimation of how long it will take after that. 

  • How much will it cost?

    People always ask for a ballpark estimate before Norman begins measuring and he doesn’t like to give them. A detailed estimate is sent to the client to review within a day or two of the initial meeting. He breaks everything down and makes it understandable. 

  • Is there a warranty on your work?

    We will come back and fix something if it was due to a materials failure within a year.
